Your Move is a free program from the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure that encourages families to choose active travel—like walking, riding, scooting or catching public transport—instead of driving every day. Even small changes can make a big difference.
By taking a few active trips each week, families can help reduce traffic around the school, improve safety at busy times, and lower our environmental impact. Active travel also boosts children’s physical health, emotional wellbeing and classroom concentration.
Everyone can take part. If you live too far away, try parking a short distance from school and walking the rest. If safety is a concern, join your child once a week for a walk or ride. Every little bit helps.
By making active travel part of our routine, we can create a cleaner, greener and healthier future for our students and our school community.
Your Move Leaders are selected students from year 3 and year 5. They play an important role in supporting our Your Move active travel initiatives across the school. Their responsibilities include:
