On 24 April, we had the pleasure of welcoming pre-service teachers from The University of Western Australia (UWA) to our school. The visiting students joined us to observe our literacy block in action, gaining valuable insight into our teaching practices and classroom routines.

Our dedicated teachers and Education Assistants warmly welcomed the pre-service teachers into their classrooms and proudly showcased the high-quality teaching and learning that takes place each day. It was a wonderful opportunity to highlight the collaborative and engaging learning environments across our school.

In addition to observing lessons, the UWA students also had the opportunity to deliver engaging oral language lessons to our students. These sessions were well received and provided meaningful learning experiences for our classes.

We thank the UWA pre-service teachers for visiting and for their enthusiasm and professionalism. We look forward to welcoming them back to our school again in the future as they continue their journey into the teaching profession.
