Kambarang
Kambarang in October and November is symbolized by the kala (colour) yellow - and it arrives in an explosion of wildflowers.
It is when the days grow longer, and the streams run clear. Traditionally, during Kambarang the Menang people move back onto the coastal plains where Kooyar (frogs ), tortoises and freshwater dil (crayfish) were caught.
At this time the peppermint trees are covered in white djet (white flowers).
