Djilba
August/September. Welcome to Djilba
Welcome to Djilba! During this season Noongar people dug up native potatoes from beneath Wandoo trees. They also hunted emu, kangaroo, bandicoot and possums for food during Djilba. The season is represented by the blooms of yellow and cream flowers. Days are very cold and clear with warmer, rainy and windy days and the occasional sunny day or two.
